Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, purchasing access, or otherwise using CFTrack (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the operator of CFTrack ("we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

CFTrack is a personal organization tool that helps speech-language pathology (SLP) clinical fellows track their ASHA Clinical Fellowship hours, supervision logs, weekly progress, skills, and compliance milestones. The Service is provided as a web application accessible via a modern browser.

CFTrack is a personal record-keeping aid only. It does not submit data to ASHA or any licensing or credentialing body on your behalf, and it does not constitute professional, clinical, or legal advice.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under applicable law to use the Service. By creating an account you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Accounts are created via Firebase Authentication using Google sign-in or email and password. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at slpcftracker@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not create more than one account per person or transfer your account to another individual.

4. One-Time Purchase and Lifetime Access

CFTrack is available for a one-time payment of $14.99 USD. There is no recurring subscription. Upon successful payment you receive lifetime access to the Service as it exists and as it is updated at our discretion.

"Lifetime access" means access for as long as we operate the Service. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available indefinitely. If we discontinue the Service, we will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable.

Prices are subject to change for new purchases. Your one-time payment locks in your access at the price paid; we will not charge you again for features added during the normal course of service operation.

5. Refunds

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service by automated means.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer your access to any third party.
• Use the Service to store or transmit protected health information (PHI) or any data prohibited under Section 7.

7. No PHI and User Content

Do not enter patient names, medical record numbers, dates of birth, or any other protected health information (PHI) or patient-identifiable data into CFTrack. CFTrack is not a HIPAA-covered entity and is not designed or secured for PHI storage. Enter only aggregate hour counts, general activity descriptions, and your own professional information.

You retain ownership of the CF tracking data you enter into the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit your User Content solely to the extent necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the Service for you. We do not sell your User Content to third parties.

You represent and warrant that your User Content does not violate any applicable law, infringe any third-party rights, or contain PHI or other sensitive regulated data.

8. Not Professional Advice and No ASHA Affiliation

CFTrack is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). The ASHA name and any related marks are the property of ASHA. References to ASHA on this site are for descriptive purposes only.

Nothing in the Service constitutes professional, clinical, legal, or financial advice. Compliance indicators, hour calculations, segment tallies, and progress displays are provided as organizational aids only. CF requirements — including hour thresholds, supervision minimums, and segment rules — may change. You are solely responsible for verifying current requirements directly with ASHA and your applicable state licensing board.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service other than the limited license to use it as described herein.

The "CFTrack" name and brand are proprietary. You may not use our name or marks without our prior written consent.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on the following third-party processors, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:

• Google / Firebase — authentication (Google sign-in and email/password) and backend data storage.
• Stripe — payment processing. CFTrack does not store your card number or full payment details; Stripe processes transactions directly and we receive only entitlement confirmation and minimal billing metadata.
• Sentry — error monitoring, configured without sending personally identifiable information.

Your use of the Service is also subject to the applicable terms of these third-party providers. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

We make no guarantee that compliance indicators, hour tallies, or segment calculations are accurate or current. Use this tool as a convenience aid alongside your own records.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR, IF YOU HAVE MADE ONLY A ONE-TIME PURCHASE, THE AMOUNT OF THAT PURCHASE).

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU IN FULL.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CFTrack and its operators, officers, agents, and contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

14. Termination and Account Deletion

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for a material violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

You may delete your account at any time via the account settings page within the app. Account deletion will remove your profile and CF tracking data from our systems, subject to any legally required retention periods. See our Refund Policy for what happens to your data in the event of a refund.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where practicable, notify you by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [State/Country — TO BE COMPLETED BY YOUR ATTORNEY], without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
